Ecological storytelling is a series of site-specific drawings in collaboration with trees. The project began with a Trident Maple. Its bark is gnarled and rough, a testament to the time and endurance of a lifetime much longer than mine will ever be.

I wanted to offer the tree a spotlight and a voice.

The device hangs over an eager branch. The limbs drag the mediums across the paper, a brutal reconnection of the same material. Together, we capture a living moment, a creative documentation of time and space in our current environment.
